The Commonwealth Games are getting underway in Birmingham this week.

One thousand Armed Forces personnel are being deployed to the Games.

As well as being responsible for security, 300 personnel will also support with ceremonial duties - including 280 medal presentations.

We visited the personnel as they prepared for duties.
