Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga - Part 6: Climbing Hoohoo Mountain 1/2
Mario & Luigi finally make their way out of the Stardust Fields. After venturing through a small cave, they eventually reach Hoohoo Village, a village sitting along Hoohoo Mountain. The locals here themselves are called Hoohoos..
----------
The Mario Bros. were suddenly confronted by Beanbean Soldiers, who accused them of kidnapping their Prince Peasley. They didn't even believe that these two bros were THE Mario & Luigi.
That is... until Tolstar, still beaten to a pulp, flew in to tell the soldiers that these plumbers were in fact the real deal. That's when the soldiers finally drop their guard.
Based on their words, it sounded like Fawful was responsible for Peasley's kidnapping. They needed some help in looking for him.
----------
You can't go everywhere in this village, mainly through some of its additional caves. Some of their paths inside are blocked by big rocks.
There's one cave that's guarded by a huge Koopa Troopa called an Ankoopa. He claims that nothing can knock him down... Maybe...
One bridge section of this village is being repaired by some Hoohoos. So you can cross it yet.
Right next to that cutoff is the house of the Hammerhead Bros., Sledge & Mallet. They've stepped out to somewhere, but where...?
----------
One goofy mechanic in this game is feeding yourself a fountain of water. Luigi can't stand it, but if you use Mario...
He let himself bloat up from the water. He'll move slowly and can't jump, but if you have Luigi jump on him, he can spray water on things, such as fans and fire.
----------
Somewhere around this village, you will encounter Fawful once more. *HE HAS FURY!*
He blocks the way that leads past Hoohoo Village using a huge statue of sorts. There's no way Mario & Luigi can get through it.
Unless...
----------
Head back to the Hammerhead Bros.' house, they will finally be there.
The Hammerhead Bros. recognized the Mario Bros., and they were happy to make the Mario Bros. some Hammers... IF they can climb up Hoohoo Mountain and bring them some Hoohoo Blocks for the hammer building.
----------
During the climb up Hoohoo Mountain, you will need to utilize the Spin Jump in order to fly very far with tornadoes, and use more of "Water" Mario to put out some fire statues, as doing this will release some of the tornadoes you need to bring your Spin Jump through.
If you use your Bros Attacks enough time, you will learn Advance variants of those attacks. This typically involves using a different button prompts than the normal one in order to change the attack into something completely different.
I end up learning Advance Bounce Bros. at 22:05. I don't really like it much, but it's designed to have to try and attack more than one enemy in one go.
----------
As the title shows, there's still more to this mountain climb than I've shown in this video.
