Here's a short and simple world by Mariovariable. It sat in my inbox of requests for ages until I decided to do some more Mario videos. I chose this one because it seemed nice and straightforward, which is what I wanted. I didn't want something too elaborate that would require a whole series to make, like The Minus Worlds or some other big projects like that - not after taking such a big break from playing any Mario games.

World Y is plain and standard - that's it. Nothing more, nothing less. It's not a BAD world by any means, no way, but it doesn't stand out either. Actually, one thing that DOES stand out is a glitch in the game that causes it to automatically reset when you're down to 0 lives, so instead of getting one more try, you get sent back to the menu screen. That's like having one less life by default ! To be honest, it wasn't nearly as annoying as I was expecting it to be, because the game saves your progress and starts you off at the last level you reached, so it's not THAT much of a big deal, but still counts as a flaw.
