Well, quite a bit has happened in the past week, especially within the past day. In this video, I only have 223 Tournaments out of 384 completed before completing the Peach's Star Invitational (which would be my last Star Tournament as a non-Star Character, which is probably the hardest of the 96 quarter tournaments).

Thanks to MetalYoshi Pro Gamer, it has now been confirmed that in order to unlock the Ace Difficulty, all you need to do is beat every Star Tournament as a non-Star Character. No need to beat every Normal Tournament, or every Star Tournament as a Star Character. Guess Camelot saw the Star Tournament as non-Star Character as the hardest section to complete, and the initial thought of completing all 384 to unlock Ace was due to those people saving the hardest for last. So, I manage to beat Peach's Star Invitational (doing very poorly in the end as well, though I don't really care since I met the cutoff) with Shadow Mario, and manage to unlock the Ace Difficulty (at 16:23)! At the end of the video, I am at 224 out of 384 Tournaments completed. Since I'm already at over halfway complete, and the Star Characters will make completing the Tournaments faster, I'll complete it for completion's sake. Nonetheless, expect some Ace Difficulty Character Matches soon!
