Sorry for the lack of videos. In my previous Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour matches, I have mentioned that the Ace difficulty for CPUs could only be unlocked in the European/Australian and Japanese versions of the game by beating every Star Tournament once. Doing that in the North American version of the game only gave a No Simulation Line handicap. Turns out that it was recently discovered (within the past year) and confirmed (within the past month) that the Ace difficulty can be unlocked, but it's tedious.

You have to beat Tournament and Star Tournament with every non-Star AND Star Character. That will equate to 384 tournaments in total. Yes, it's a gauntlet. I used to have that completed before my main memory card got corrupted in 2007/2008. Now, with Mario Golf: World Tour just a week away, I have really gotten interest back into the game.

I show my progress, which has 180 out of 384 tournaments completed at the end of the video, so I'm nearly at the halfway point. Assuming that I manage to complete an average of 40 tournaments a week (Mario Golf: World Tour will likely detract from this), I should have every tournament completed by the end of May. Now for Mario Golf: World Tour. Going to be a Day 1 buy for me, and the DLC has gotten me even more hyped for it! The demo will be available in North America tomorrow at 12pm Eastern Time, so you can expect a full playthrough of it on Friday! I'll also get the retail game on May 2, so you can definitely expect a video of it on that day as well.

Edit: Looks like MetalYoshi Pro Gamer found out that you DON'T need to beat all 384 tournaments to unlock Ace Difficulty! You just need to beat the every Tournament and Star Tournament as a non-Star character, which brings the total tournaments to 192. Hopefully, I'll have every Star Tournament completed as a non-Star character by April 30, so I'll record it being unlocked.
