Mario Kart 8 has been played on a real Wii U console with the original game disk.

This cheat code sets your overall collected coins to 10.000 so the game will think that you should be rewarded with unlockables in case you don't have them. To trigger an unlock, you have to visit driver selection and then go back to the main menu. It will tell you about a new unlock every time. So far, you have to keep doing this until you got all unlocks (the last one is the golden glider which you usually get at 10.000 coins).
