14I have, once again, been struck with an assault on my immune system. I've been told I get sick pretty frequently. I get 3 to 4 colds per year. Is that a lot?

Race #1
Wii Wario's Gold Mine
Yeah, my VR is now suddenly over 8000. Not a DBZ meme quite yet, and I hope not to have to mention it if I reach that. There were a few races where I wasn't recording as my laptop ran low on battery power and needed to be recharged. You know, all this time playing Mario Kart 8 and I never knew there were coins on the far edges of the start/finish line. The racers kind of compressed together at the beginning of the final lap, as you can see by the map in the corner. Thank the item system! I don't think I could really enjoy a racing game without items.
Race #2
GBA Ribbon Road
I think I have a relatively unstable Internet connection (partially, that's because we were forcibly switched over to Frontier), so I get a lot of Mushrooms. I mentioned it in the previous Mario Kart 8 video, but I think when your connection is unstable, you'll get a lot of Mushrooms because they're the items least affected by lag. As a result, in courses like this, where there's a Mushroom shortcut at the end, I often just expect the final item of a lap to be a speed-boosting item. Unless I fail to get an item at all, which happens.

Electrodrome
Naturally, someone decided to find a way to get around the swear filter. Dadgum kids and their rebellious attitude! In all three races I've shown here, I began the race at or near the bottom, and I would spend it climbing up. Sometimes, I'm successful, and sometimes I'm not (and I consider it a success if I get to the top half).

Wii Moo Moo Meadows
Somehow, whenever I change rooms, it's always a lot easier to do well. Why is that? It's been this way ever since I started playing Mario Kart online with Mario Kart DS. Do people just grow a dislike for me? I mean, you can see that in the Ribbon Road race, I was pelted with everything people around me could throw at me like a bad stand-up comedian. In this race, how do they assume everybody's positions and calculate their VRs before most of them even cross the finish line?
