Mario Kart 8 Custom Tracks (#6) - 3DS Wuhu Island Loop - Island Exploration!
427Mario Kart 8 was released in 2014 and a few years later we're getting custom tracks! My aim is to "review" these tracks with speed tests and showcases of everything it has to offer.
Wuhu Island Loop is an... interesting track. A lot of recent custom "tracks" come from the same person, and I'm putting the quotation marks because there are no laps and you can drive up everything. May as well be an arena or "bit of land with a kart on it". That being said, the visuals are very good, and driving the track is enjoyable on 200cc. Shortcuts don't work properly and textures are glitched. Whatever, though.
Gamebanana has decided that it wants to crash every single time I check it. It just kinda freezes chrome now, so I don't think I can justify any reviews I put there anymore. So, uh, if you see this, let me justify all the ratings I put on there in another segment of my description...

It crashes for me whenever I use the textboxes on that website, so I'm just gonna plop 'em here in case anyone is interested what I put.
Design: 6 - Fun to play, but how can I give it green when shortcuts SD Lock you or simply don't work? Also, as fun, as it is, driving through and up walls, is not good design, nor is driving through water. Also, wrong minimap, no laps, no paths, etc...
Looks: 8 - A few texture issues here and there and I think the whole track should be brighter. However, it's beautiful overall.
Gameplay: 7 - Again, fun to play but I don't enjoy having to redo the entire thing if I miss a jump.
Fun: 9 - Broken = Fun =D
