Mario Kart 8 Team Races consist of multiple people on each side going against each other in a multiplayer split screen style. In Mario Kart 8 Team Race Mode, Team Blue combats against Team Red, trying to race to the finish while collecting the most coins and finishing with the most points! In a way, it highlights the versus aspect in Mario Kart 8, as well as teaming up together to bring a whole new, different face of competition to Mario Kart multiplayer split screen!

Mario Kart 8 Team Race episodes will consist of 4 races per part, picking a variety of stages that Mario Kart 8 provides! Going from the hardest stages to the easiest of stages, the Team Race mode will be as competitive as ever since one teammate can either make or break the flow of the whole team! One play can end up in first place while the other teammate can end up in last place, making the whole team become average. One person cannot carry the whole team, so teamwork is a huge factor, as well as group success. In a game like Mario Kart that is usually perceived as a selfish game, since it's usually one versus the million, Team Race mode brings a whole different interface to the game we love since teamwork is involved! There are different tactics to be used, especially with item usage and where/when to use them on the other team. The glorious parts of Mario Kart 8 Team Race mode is that, if the people on each team communicate together and team up on the opposing side, they can cause a wreak of havoc, and possibly dominate one-another. So pick up your game, get a few friends, and play along with Josh K and Josh L in Mario Kart 8 multiplayer split screen!

In this Mario Kart 8 Team Race series, Josh K and Josh L will be on separate teams in multiplayer split screen style featuring the Red Team and the Blue Team. You can already sense the aggravation and competition that will be going between the both of us, and you, the viewers, will be able to experience the angst and fun with the both of us! The Blue Shells will forever be hated on, as well as the nooby Bullet Bills, but at the end, it's not about how only one individual does, but it's about how the team does, hence why it's called Team Race mode!
