Download the triforce version of Dolphin (im using Dolphin Triforce 3.0-694 x64), the mario gp 2 game and then edit the game ini to play it.
to edit the mario gp2 ini
1. goto \Dolphin Triforce 3.0-694 x64\User\GameConfig
2. open the file that belongs to your gameid (the name of your downloaded game)
3. edit and replace the ini with
[Core] Values set here will override the main dolphin settings.
