Mario Kart: Super Circuit - Part 1 - Mushroom Cup (50cc)
It has been a long time since I've played my last Mario Kart game on this channel, I have been thinking for a while that was about time to move on to the next. After a bit of postponing this project a couple of times 😅, here it finally is. Super Circuit feels more like a successor to the first MK game than MK64, but it is the third game nonetheless. Let's get our minds out of Mario Kart World for a few moments and let's dive into the game that was the first Mario Kart game on a handheld system. Keep the banana's and the shells ready, we are hitting the track again in Mario Kart!
Mario Kart: Super Circuit is the first Mario Kart game on a handheld system and the third installment in the series in total. With the Game Boy Advance able to handle graphics and processing power better than the SNES, this game feels like an improvement of the 2D Mario Kart system the first game invented. With more crazy venues than ever before combined with tough to handle driving mechanics, Super Circuit is sometimes seen as the black sheep of the Mario Kart family. But with the challenge laying ahead for us, this ride may be most epic one so far. 2D Mario Kart at its finest!
