I wonder what exactly is retro about this course? Aside from that, I like how the item blocks look here. Maybe that's what's retro here? What I don't like here is the computers have speed mods...

Now this is retro! The first course from the first Mario Kart game I ever played. It's great seeing it here, it brings back so many memories. It was a good course back then, and it still is in this game.

Abe Abbott Raceway:

I don't know who Abe Abbott is, but I like the track named after this person. It kinda reminds me of a real life racetrack, except without all the obstacles.

SNES Choco Island 1:

After racing on three raceways, we end this cup by racing on a classic island made of chocolate!
