Custom Mario Kart's Overview: 'After 5 months of development, success, failure, retrial, and a majorly rude interruption by Nintendo known as Mario Kart 7, Sunset Ridge has been officially released.
Both of the main creators have never had so many problems on one CT. It had freeze glitches, solidity glitches, messed up mapping, corrupted meshes and more. Much of the intended quality had to be sacrificed to make it at least work. At the time of its release, this track was closest to Nintendo quality (without HP effect and lag, and possibly with few more shadows it WOULD be Nintendo quality).

The track is made by Vulcanus2, BigOto2 and DemyxIX. It has a ridge theme. The track is complete with working minimap and intro. CPU AI 'kill' themselves at the mushroom section.The track is simple to understand because the track has walls on most places. There is signs about other tracks like Delfino Island, Daisy's Palace, N64 Rainbow Road: Lunar Edition, Volcanic Skyway and I think Misty Ruins. The obstacles in this track are Goombas, Swoopers and Boulders. The background has a sunset sky to it. Overall this is a great track.
