Mario Kart Wii - Item Spy Code [Offline]
95Here's a little project that I've been working on recently. It's an item spy code, similar to the MKDS and MK7 item system. I am able to record every CPUs items, including mine. And with this code, anyone can do it. But, there's a catch... You have to own a USB Gecko. Use the program Gecko.NET and go to the Memory Viewer. From there go to address 0x80001500 and turn on Auto-Update. You'll be able to see what everyone has from the addresses 0x80001500 through 0x8000152C. I took the item value data and graphically enhanced so that you the viewer can tell more easily what item everyone has, cause just looking at plain hexadecimal numbers is kinda boring... :P
Right now, the graphical aspect is all done through the magic of video editing. I worked on this to make it as accurate as possible. It is accurate to 1/15 of a second. Now that's accurate! Right now, I am working on creating a program that will display the graphical aspect of the items instead of the value numbers. It will make the video editing process a lot easier for me.
This code is for offline and offline only! It won't work online, so if you thought you could use this to spy on player's items online, then I've got bad news for you... ;P
Anyway, here's the code. It's only for NTSC-US, I might make it in PAL or NTSC-JP if I feel like it, or if there's lots of requests. Remember this only works for USB Gecko owners!
