As you can see, sometimes the Mii will T-pose while their heads are stuck in the same pose from before being selected, though this only lasts for a single frame:

To remove the background, I moved it outside of the screen by editing the layout files for it (stored in "/Scene/UI/MenuMulti.szs/./button/blyt/common_w019_mii.brlyt" and "/Scene/UI/MenuMulti.szs/./control/blyt/common_w122_message_mii_select.brlyt")
