What's New in Mario Kart World?
Players will take part in races with 24 racers in total, up from 8 - 12 in previous games.
Vehicles will now transform into a watercraft when interacting with water, instead of being submerged.
Players will be able to perform rail rides and wall rides to build up boost just like when drifting.
Items will now assume a defensive position automatically without the player having to press and hold a button.
There are now wings built-in to the vehicle instead of having a glider.
During Grand Prix, players will drive to the course they will be racing during an intermission instead of being teleported to the starting line.
They have revamped and upgraded the trick system, players will be able to perform more tricks.
Goombas will spawn on racetracks and charge towards players.
Racers will not be able to perform a Charge Jump, gaining additional height and speed boosts.
Players will be able to hold double the amount of coins as before, capping at 20 now instead of 10.
