Mario no Picross Easter-Egg Button Cheat Code Disable Super Game Boy ATTR_TRN A9 settings
0Mario's Picross and Picross 2 will not setup the ATTR_TRN A9 Super Game Boy palettes if A + B + Select + Start are held when booting the games. If ATTR_TRN A9 is not set, only system palettes (4 total) will be displayed on-screen because special attributes such as designated 4x4, 8x8 chunks of the screen wouldn't be assigned to static areas of the game. I don't know why this feature exists, maybe it was intended for developers to see how palettes are displayed. That's my best guess. Also, if timed correctly, all Super Game Boy functions except for MLT_REQ 01 (Super Game Boy 2 player mode with 2 SNES controllers) will not load or display. I assumed this had to do with using JOYPAD registers while the game is sending VRAM signals which would interfere but that wasn't correct. This is one of those really obscure easter-eggs.
