I've been around on Youtube for as far as I can remember, so this benchmark was well warranted for a long time.

Never once have I ever thought that I would go back and make a sequel to something I made a while back, but here I am with one. From board design and logos, I did all of them, and while it's not completely perfect, such as the pathway to the dining hall, it does well enough to think that you are travelling from one room to the next. I had next to everything planned out for what I wanted out of this custom board, but unfortunately the custom events available, even on the Mario Party Legacy site, didn't have what I had in mind so I had to make do with what I could get.

-The Chimecho Assembly space was supposed to act like the Western Land event that allowed you to pay to have everyone get summoned to that space. Even though it's an event in the game already, the editor wouldn't allow me to use it at all so I had to settle for a generic item space.

-The Croagunk Swap Shop was supposed to grant you a random item in exchange for the one you have on hand like in the actual games, but the only custom script close to it was one where it gave you a pre set item and offered to replace it if you already own one. I eventually went with that in the end.

-Likewise, Wigglytuff was supposed to give you a random rare item or coins if you already own an item. While the script I wanted did exist, I could only make it predetermined and not random like I wanted.

-While key gate support already existed for Mario Party 3, as of this video it still doesn't exist yet for Mario Party 2. Thankfully there's a custom script to do just that without the doors, but I kind of wish I could have used a door for the hallway to the mess hall.

-Finally, I couldn't find a way to give custom dialogue to each one without it glitching up the game, so I had to settle for the dialogue that came with the scripts.

Even with everything said and done after I finished with the board, the AI didn't want to cooperate much. They just couldn't compute that they needed certain items to access certain areas which meant I had to do the deed for them. I guess this means this board works best with actual human players to get around the issue.

As to why I didn't use my N64 flashcart to record this, custom boards are a bit iffy on actual hardware. It could randomly crash at points and sometimes not boot up at all unlike other N64 hacks, so to remain on the safe side I resorted to an emulator even with certain...flashy results at times.

Thanks to everyone who helped me reach this momentous milestone, as I would have never accomplished such a feat without all of them. It might seem like a rather minute number to the larger Youtubers, but to someone like me and the niche type of content I go for, I would have never imagined ever seeing that number in my life!
