This first battle can be tough. I let the enemies come to me and used a more defensive approach. Somehow I won, despite all my characters dying. My last character died as the last enemy died.

Rabbid Mario has some powerful attacks, so I went with him and rabbid princess for the healing ability.

Unfortunately I lost the boss battle footage for this world. The recordings can cut off without warning.

There is 3 forms to the boss. I beat it the first time, so my tips are just based on what I did. My advice is to keep your team mostly spread out and flank the boss to get hits on him from the sides and back, with multiple characters. Make use of all abilities of course.

When enemies start appearing focus your fire on them. There is only maybe 4 or 5 enemies from what I remember. They dont respawn. Its best to get rid of them from a distance so you can focus on the boss. Use the defensive buffs and heal as needed. You can attack the boss only , but since its a long fight you may run into issues with the smashing enemies. The healers may also be able to heal the boss, though I took them out before it happened.
