LEGO has been publishing many wonderful sets. This is one of them. My wife Elise got it for me as compensation for leaving me to fend for myself for a week when she went on a trip. 😘
I believe the designer of this set really managed to capture the essence of the Tallneck and the environment where Aloy starts out in: the Birch trees, Tallgrass to hide in, remnants of the old world in the shape of the husk of a traffic light. The ever present Watchers - it’s possible to change their eye to yellow or red.
It was fun building this in two sessions on a Saturday and a Sunday morning.
The soundtrack used is “Heavy Load” written by Sven Karlsson licensed from Epidemic Sound. It has quite appropriate lyrics.
