So what's on my SteamDeck? An assortment of SteamGames and emulators. All the games shown I own and have bought. Emulation for me is about preservation and ease of use.
I captured the gameplay by hooking the SteamDeck up to a 720p60 stand-alone capture card (that exhibited minor issues) connected to the SteamDeck that is sitting in a SJAUX rev 2 USB-C 6-in-1 Multifunction Adapter (SteamDeck Dock). A small wide screen Samsung TV to display was used as a monitor.
The SteamDeck was controlled using a wired XboxOne Series X Controller which was effortlessly recognized and integrated as controller.
KDenLive on Pop!OS was used to edit the footage which consists of a combination of edited/cut gameplay snippets and real time loading and GUI navigation to get a feel for the speed of the storage and the GUI experience.
I am very impressed by what this console can do. All is done at default settings on the SteamDeck with SteamDeck OS.
There's a few moments where graphical glitches occur that are due to the standalone capture card having hiccups.
