ChampGames / Champrogramming / Champ programming was a game developer from the US founded by John W. Champeau. Robert Cole was in charge sound design. They produced quite a few wonderful ports of classic arcade games around 1996/1997 running on MS-DOS & Windows95 PCs.

An older version of the Pacman called Pacmaniac was released in 1993 and it featured a layout/graphics quite similar to the Atari/C64 layout of the Game. I may show that in another video when I find the disk.

It was also possible to use a CHAMP cable that allowed you to plug an old Atari compatible 9-pin digital joystick or equivalent into the parallel 25-pin printer port (LPT1, LPT2 or LPT3).
