The original intention was to play Seven Cities of Gold for Atari 8-bit computers, but then it didn't work! So after fiddling with technical difficulties for a while I gave up and played random Atari 8-bit cartridge games instead.

Tonight Mark W revisits (re-DISCOVERs? re-EXPLOREs?) an interesting game from 1984 by Dani Bunten and Ozark Softscape, those mad geniuses whose credits include M.U.L.E. among other games... THE SEVEN CITIES OF GOLD! As Spanish explorers, let's explore the new world together. I will randomly generate a new world, then go explore that.This is one of the first, if not THE first, game considered to be "open world."
