Marvel Avengers Alliance-PVP 28 wrap up and the Week in MAA (3/18/16)
17Let me start off by saying I am SUPER sorry this video is so long but it's 2 videos worth of content (PVP wrap up and the Week in MAA). Since both came due on the same day, here we go.
Finally we get to openly talk about ALL the bugs this PVP season. We had the double to quintuple drain bug ISO combination, we had the signpost/FOLB lag lameness, and we had a possible season extending Electro+thunder strike bug. Most of them were okay but the Electro one was a douchey cheat if used. This bug COULD have been innocent since PD threw us the weapon in Electro's own friggin chest! PD literally spoon fed you one of the worst bugs. There was also rumors of soothing rest causing refreshes but it was not confirmed. Hellcat becomes our new PVP hero and she might be ok. I have her lvl 1 and 2 and I can confirm she will hit delirium immune people, she just won't apply the debuff. I got my ada finish again and my defense Thursday evening kept me right where I wanted to be. They dipped Friday morning but nothing super serious. I had the most efficient offensive season dropping a mere single digit amount of losses. Archangel and X-force Psylocke continued destroying what the meta put up around them. The use of stealth, nanoplague and single target despair was killer. My only issues came from Spitfire groups eliminating AA early on or anti-stealth teams.
What will the future hold for PVP? First, PD needs to fix their fucking bugs. This season was rife with them and it SHOULD teach PD not to release so quickly but I doubt they'll learn their lesson. The new store ISOs and suits will continue to be a big factor. I don't think the new bruiser suit will, but like the scrapper suit, it favors melee. Melee is NOT the thing to do right now. Spec ops 33 is rolling along with some people getting Cammi already. I'm close but honestly, I find her to be kinda wimpy. She might become a utility slot like Howard. The gear set is piquing people's interests but I don't have enough to test it right now. The MAA community remained a house divided all week as people discussed the merits of the mega drain usage. I blame PD more than I blame the people. PD's code that showed signs of doing this with the no-stun/elite ISO double drain. Why grit affects it I can't understand but look for it to be fixed by season 29. They also need to stop the slow down of drains and get possession working again. How did you guys finish up?
