If you’ll recall, the final chapter of Marvel’s Infinity War saga sort of ends on a question mark when it comes to one of their most beloved characters, Captain America. Following the events of End Game, Steve Rogers takes on the responsibility of going back and putting the Infinity Stones back where they belong. Only, after apparently completing his task, he doesn’t come back to the present. Instead, he opts to stay in the past and live out his life with Peggy Carter. It’s a touching moment, and a fitting send off for one of the world’s most beloved heroes. Only, what did he do for all those years if he went back to the past and lived a full life?
In this video, we’ll examine the distinct possibility that Steve Rogers went back in time to live out his life, but chose a different way to help the world. Rather than fight off villains as Steve Rogers, he instead changed his name to Fred and decided he’d help the world by educating children.
