Reviewing the new Mary Poppins movie Mary Poppins Returns the bank trying to repossess a man's house when a magical Mary Poppins helps them save it.

Mary Poppins Returns looks nice on the outside but is hollow on the inside. As said multiple times in the movie "the cover is not the book."

Liked: The visuals are great. Emily Blunt works as Mary Poppins even though she still feels like Emily Blunt. The evil bank premise is interesting and many can relate to it.

Unliked: Miranda may have been good on Broadway but he has no business opening a $100 million dollar film 54 years in the making. His lack of character shows and leaves an enormous hole in the movie. He his neither likeable nor dislikable but simply boring. The songs are also boring and this movie may make you fall asleep.
