Masquerade (http://gue.cgwmuseum.org/galleries/index.php?pub=1&item=1&id=2&key=0) was a graphics adventure game published by Phoenix Software in 1983 for the Apple ][. The player is a detective who has a hard time tracking down a kingpin called Mr. Topp. The game begins in a hotel room right after the player knocked out one of Topp's minion. Can this person provide enough clues to find Mr. Topp?
