After all the hoop-lah about Mass Effect 3's ending, the promised "additional content" has arrived to tie up some lose ends. My memory of the original ending is a little vague (like alot of people it left a bad taste in my mouth) but from what I can tell, here's what they've added.

1. When your running towards the conduit with Harbinger firing at you, there's now a cut-scene showing an explosion injuring your squad mates. This forces Shepard to call in the Normandy for a med evac - thus explaining why they were on the Normandy again during the final cut-scene on that alien planet.

2. The Star Child goes into MUCH greater detail (thank god) about the origins of the Reapers, himself, and even a little about the race that created the Reapers (hint: it didn't end well for them). Probably the most satisfying part of the DLC for me. He also explains your choices a little bit better - and the option to refuse all of them is even added.

3. Hackett ordering all ships to leave the area once the Crucible has been activated, explaining why Joker why was running away.

4. A story book-like sequence at end with Hackett doing a voice over. Basically explaining what happened to the Mass Relays, how all the different races are faring, etc.

5. A super sad scene at the end with all of your squadmates standing around that memorial on the Normandy hanging Shep's name up.

And I think that's it - at least for my playthrough. Their ARE multiple endings to this that my video doesn't cover, so it's certainly worth a trip through the search engine to find them. The refusal ending is especially cool.
