Shepard: How many scientists are here?
Bryn: 43, plus research assistants.
Liara: How did you maintain secrecy with that many?
Bryn: When you fear for your life, there's a lot you can do.
Dr. Bayner: Bryn, I can't possibly dismantle the genetic amplification components in time.
Bryn: I'm sorry, Dr. Bayner. It's important work, but right now, you need to tend to your family.
Shepard: Wait. There are families here? Children?!
EDI: A dangerous choice.
Shepard: So, those refugees brought everyone with them?
Bryn: Yes, we have about 17 kids here, partners, spouses, parents. I promised these people refuge; a new life, free from Cerberus. I just never imagined the Illusive Man would...
Shepard: No second guessing. Let's just get these people the hell out of here. And not one more lost. We only get one shot at this, so people better pay attention and fall in line.
Bryn: Absolutely.
Shepard: What's the news?
Jacob: Can't tell. Only know I can't fix it from here. I'm going to the roof. Cerberus landed a shuttle there a couple of minutes ago. You in?
Shepard: Jacob, you're injured. I'll fix the guns.
Jacob: No way. These are my people. I'm going.
Shepard: Just because you survived one suicide mission, doesn't mean you get two.
Jacob: Fine, but I'm gonna talk you through it from here. Cerberus is probably jamming the satellite link. Radio me when you've found the controls, and I'll give you the override code.
Shepard: Will do.
Announcer: Personnel for Project Miash now [inaudible 00:02:02]...
Man 2: Leave those things. Let's just get the hell out of here.
Announcer: in progress.
Man 3: Chuck! I'm in here.
Announcer: [inaudible 00:02:10] the area, to ensure your departure [inaudible 00:02:11].
Man 4: I'm not willing to die to save this data.
Woman: Let me, [inaudible 00:02:16]
Man: I told you we should have gone to Sanctuary.
Liara: These civilians had no hope of coming out of this alive.
EDI: A hastily assembled militia is no match for a Cerberus force, of any kind. Hostiles on sensors.
Liara: I'm on it.
EDI: Doing it now. We must locate the satellite tower. Doing it now. Affirmative. Got it.
Assault Trooper: [inaudible 00:04:09]
Shepard: Jacob, dish should be back online now.
Jacob: Affirmative. But the guns are still down. You'll need to manually activate them. Head back to the front of the facility.
Liara: More enemies in our path.
Assault Trooper: [inaudible 00:05:04]. Get down!
Liara: Shepard, shuttles overhead.
Shepard: They must drop in from above.
Liara: Right away.
EDI: Right.
Assault Trooper: [inaudible 00:05:34]. I've got visual.
Liara: Shepard...Shepard, there's the gun.
EDI: Got one.
Assault Trooper: [inaudible 00:06:03].
Liara: Affirmative. Got it.
EDI: Understood.
Assault Trooper: [inaudible 00:06:37].
Liara: Got it.
Assault Trooper: Get down! Watch out, [inaudible 00:07:03]! [inaudible 00:07:12]!
Shepard: We have to get up there and activate those AA guns, manually!
EDI: [inaudible 00:07:41].
Announcer 2: Power restored. Gun One reset. [inaudible 00:08:29] complete.
Shepard: The other gun's still down. Let's get over there!
Announcer 2: Failure at junction. Repair and reset.
Shepard: Okay, one of us has to make these repairs. EDI, I need you to fix this.
EDI: I will make the repairs.
Shepard: Stay focused, Liara. Just you and me.
Liara: You bet, Shepard.
Assault Trooper: [inaudible 00:09:15]. [inaudible 00:09:24].
EDI: More time is required.
Assault Trooper: [inaudible 00:09:42].
Liara: Got it. I'm on it.
Assault Trooper: [inaudible 00:10:16].
EDI: Repairs are complete. The guns may now be brought online.
Shepard: Gotcha. I'm on it.
