I've been working on what has essentially become re-lighting Mass Effect LE. Why? you may ask. Well this video is hopefully a clear example.
Note the stationary light that follows Shepard in the unmodded game. It's not occluded by tunnels or any geometry for that matter and Shepard remains unimpacted by any other lights throughout the level.
The OT ME had dynamic lighting throughout the scene giving it more mood and atmosphere. I am aiming to restore as much of that as I can to the game. So we now have dynamic lights, proper lighting occlusion and more.
Hopefully the difference is as night and day for you as it is for me.
