Card Effect Explanation:
So the deck I'm using is full of Danger! Monsters, and their whole gimmick is that you reveal 1 of them in your hand, your opponent chooses a random card in your hand to discard, and if it wasn't the card you revealed, you get to special summon it and draw 1 card. If the card gets discarded, then they activate their secondary effect, which is unique to each monster.
Alright, first monster I used was Danger! Thunderbird!, with the effect that I listed above to reveal itself. It also has a secondary discard effect where if it's discarded, it can destroy any set card that the opponent has.
My opponent used Ash Blossom, which is able to negate any effect that:
●Adds cards from the Deck.
●Special Summons from the Deck.
●Sends a card from the Deck to the Graveyard.
Since Danger! cards have the effect to draw a card when they're special summoned, he can activate Ash. But because Ash Blossom doesn't destroy the card or even negate effects for 1 turn, I could immediately activate it again.
Since Thunderbird wasn't chosen, it got special summoned, and the card that was discarded was Danger! Wolfman!, which has the discard effect that makes my opponents monsters on the field lose 1000 ATK points (but since he had none on the field it didn't do anything.)
The card I drew from Thunderbird's effect was Danger! Chupacabra! I activated the second Thunderbird I had, and managed to discard Chupacabra and summon Thunderbird. This is where Chupacabra's discard effect kicked in. If it's discarded, I can summon any Danger! Type monster from the graveyard, so I used it to summon Wolfman and attack for game.
