Masuda shiny hunting Chikorita! | Pokemon BDSP but I can only use Prehistoric SHINIES stream #21
28Hi! And welcome to a Masuda odds shiny hunt for a Chikorita, which will my final team member for this badge quest. Kinda crazy that this one ended up being Chikorita, given that Z-A is right around the corner, but I'm VERY happy with it. Meganium is a Pokemon that I've never really used all that much since it's introduction in generation 2, which is odd because that was not only my first gen, but one of my favourites. Unfortunately, Meganium isn't usually too useful, but I have a feeling that it could fill a good role on this team heading into the E4 and Cynthia battle. Let's hope for some good IV's and a good nature!
If there's one thing you all know about me, it's that I love dinosaurs & prehistoric creatures, and so, I decided that I wanted to try and beat Shining Pearl using only Prehistoric shiny Pokemon. There are a tonne of random Pokemon that I would consider to be Prehistoric in these games, all the way from species like Meganium, which are clearly reminiscent of a Sauropod, all the way to Relicanth, which is canonically a prehistoric creature in the Pokemon world. I say that to demonstrate that this challenge won't just include the fossil Pokemon, so enjoy!
