We found our SHINY Swinub! | Pokemon BDSP but I can only use Prehistoric SHINIES stream #17
31Hi! And welcome to a stream where we'll be Masuda method shiny hunting for a Swinub! Mamoswine will be such a fantastic addition to my Prehistoric team - it's bulky, it's got a mammoth attack stat, AND, it's an almost perfect counter to a certain someone's land shark, so I'm looking forward to this one. Masuda method might sound 'easy' in these games, but it's not so much. Sure, the odds are much lower, at 1/682.7, BUT, the egg collecting & hatching process is painfully slow. Let's hope this is quick one!
If there's one thing you all know about me, it's that I love dinosaurs & prehistoric creatures, and so, I decided that I wanted to try and beat Shining Pearl using only Prehistoric shiny Pokemon. This will be my first badge quest too but with a fun twist, as we'll spin a randomised wheel before each badge to see which Prehistoric Pokemon I need to hunt for next. (except for our starter)
There are a tonne of random Pokemon that I would consider to be Prehistoric in these games, all the way from species like Meganium, which are clearly reminiscent of a Sauropod, all the way to Relicanth, which is canonically a prehistoric creature in the Pokemon world. I say that to demonstrate that this challenge won't just include the fossil Pokemon, so enjoy!
