Matthew McConaughey & Garth Jennings discuss SING 2, the sequel to the 2016 award-winning movie Sing.

Can-do koala Buster Moon, played by McConaughey, and his all-star cast of animal performers prepare to launch a dazzling stage extravaganza in the glittering entertainment capital of the world. There's just one hitch -- he has to find and persuade the world's most reclusive rock star to join them. What begins as Buster's dream of big-time success soon becomes an emotional reminder of the power of music to heal even the most broken heart.

Matthew McConaughey is an actor and producer, best known for his roles in movies such as Dazed and Confused (1993), Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994), How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Killer Joe (2011), The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) and Dallas Buyers Club (2013), the latter of which earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor. He was also nominated for an Emmy in 2014 for his performance in True Detective. In 2009, Matthew and his wife, Camila, founded the just keep livin foundation, which helps at-risk high school students make healthier mind, body, and spirit choices. In 2019, McConaughey became a professor of practice at the University of Texas at Austin, as well as Minister of Culture/M.O.C. for the University of Texas and the City of Austin. McConaughey is also brand ambassador for Lincoln Motor Company, an owner of the Major League Soccer club Austin FC, and co-creator of his favorite bourbon on the planet, Wild Turkey Longbranch.

Garth Jennings is a British writer, film director and artist. He directed the film adaptation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy (2005) and wrote and directed Son of Rambow (2008), the animated film Sing (2016) and the short horror film Madame (2018). Besides cinema, he is writer and illustrator of The Deadly 7 (2015), a trilogy of novels for young readers and the writer of children's picture book The Wildest Cowboy (2017). For a year he also imagined, produced and created lino prints at Atelier Idem in the center of Paris, which were presented during an exhibition. As an experienced story teller, he succeeded to convey his own imagination through the technique of lino prints.
