We're back at the beginning of the game. Max finds himself in a fever dream after he got shot at the condemed building. Everything is blurry: he wakes up in the hospital, he's a prisoner in his own police station for causing the death of his wife, he finds Bravura, the chief, dying. "Finish it, Payne, finish it," he says. But how? Max is still not sure what's going on with the Inner Circle. But one thing is for sure: Max is a murderer, a cop killer, he killed Winterson. When he wakes up, the cleaners are in the hospital to finish what they started. Max doesn't have a weapon, so all he can do is run away from them. I don't remember where I need to go and things get ugly. After he escapes the cleaners, Max finally finds out who's after him and why.
