Max Payne 2: The Fall Of Max Payne Walkthrough Part 20: Dearest Of All My Friends
1As he reaches Vinnie Gognitti's car dealership, Max finds Vinnie inside, discovering that the mobster has somehow ended up falling into Vladimir's trap and got himself stuck in the costume based off Captain BaseballBatBoy whose headpiece is rigged with an explosive set to detonate if it is removed, guaranteeing the wearer's death. Aware of the severity of his predicament, Vinnie sets his pride aside and begs Max for help, promising to help him take Vladimir down in return. Despite being aware that Vinnie likely won't keep his promise if he survives, Max agrees to help him out of desire to spite Vladimir any way he can, even if it means helping his own enemy. As Cleaners attack the dealership, intending to kill both Vinnie and Max, two men are forced to escape the area, a job made significantly harder by cumbersome nature of Vinnie's suit. After they eventually get away in Vinnie's van, Max decides to return to Mona's hideout in an abandoned theme park in order to seek her out, aware that she is the only one capable of disarming the explosive in Vinnie's suit. However, as they get there, Max and Vinnie are intercepted by Vladimir who brandishes a detonator for Vinnie's explosive, using it to force Max to drop his weapons...
