Max Payne 3 PC - Max Settings (MSAA 4X) Test 1920x1080 (i5-2500k - HD6950 2GB)
Just a quick test. Had to be rendered in Live Movie Maker so some quality may have been lost, having some trouble with Vegas (green frames) for some reason.
FRAPS was set to record at 30fps as YouTube can't do any higher. PC specs used to record this:
• Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 Intel Z68 (1155) DDR3 Motherboard
• Intel Core i5-2500K LGA1155 (Clocked @ 4.3GHz on this test)
• Sapphire HD 6950 "Dual Fan Edition" 2GB (Core Clock: 900MHz - Memory Clock: 1300MHz)
• Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB 1600MHz (Stock Clock)
• XFX 650W XXX Edition PSU
• Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler
I was receiving 35-50 FPS without FRAPS running, and 25-30 with it recording (all on the same HDD I might add, which slows down performance even more!). This was the max this system could handle, with MSAA 8X used 2030 of the available 2048 GFX memory. With a second card, I'd have 4GB (4096) video memory which would easily sail this game over 60FPS on max.
