Here's my box office recap for the month of May 2021, the first single month recap I've made since my February 2020 recap. Overall, while the first part of the month was weak, due to a lack of exciting movies, the last weekend of the month, Memorial Day weekend, ended on a very high note. And it was all thanks to A Quiet Place Part 2...and to some extent Cruella. Hopefully, this means the box office will return to its former glory sooner rather than later.
