Description from Planet Sincalir: This program's sole objective is to familiarize competitors with this unusual technique of programming on the ZX Spectrum. The previous contest version had a simple algorithm to generate mazes, but sometimes the mazes came out with cycles (the Axis version did this too) - this has been fixed in this version. The version of the previous competition (see here ) drew the walls with lines - this version draws painted walls.
We will take this opportunity to present several algorithms for generating mazes: this week we show a traditional algorithm (press a key to see the generator in slow motion ), next week we will show a recursive algorithm (simpler, but more abstract) and the following week we will show an algorithm so simple that even a five-year-old child can understand it.
