ABOUT THE STORY:
Adam and Eve's fall is a pivotal event in the biblical narrative of Genesis. According to the story, God created Adam and Eve, the first humans, and placed them in the Garden of Eden, where they lived in harmony and innocence. God commanded them not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. However, tempted by the serpent (often interpreted as Satan), Eve ate the forbidden fruit and then gave it to Adam, who also ate it. This act of disobedience resulted in their awareness of sin and their subsequent expulsion from Eden. The Fall introduced sin, suffering, and death into the world, fundamentally altering the human condition and the relationship between humanity and God.
