Based loosely on the Orange Squeezer Compressor, McCaffrey Audio's Reactor offers 3-way bass level control (Critical Mass toggle) and some very luscious boost and compression facilities. Because of its circuit origins the Reactor can be surprising when first fired up but it will quickly win your ears and heart thanks to its sweet spots which are VERY sweet. If you want to add a little or a lot of bass you can do that too. It loves to push the front end of any amp and will fatten up your cleans to the point where you may never want to turn it off. Compressor fans would do well to investigate the Reactor for themselves. A winner and another great addition to the respected and growing McCaffrey Audio range.
