Wampler's dB+ offers a great sounding buffer and a crystal-clear, full range booster. Each can be turned on or off independently making this small footprint pedal an invaluable utility for any pedal board.

A buffer is usually best placed right up the front of the signal chain so you can use it to drive home to your amp a strong and clear signal. However, it is sometimes undesirable to place one before, say, an old-school fuzz where it might affect the signal in undesirable way. That is why Wampler have given us a side mounted button turn the buffer on or off - problem solved.

A good clean booster is another very useful tool and the dB+ offers one of the best. In the full CCW position gain is at unity. Turning it up simply gives you more. You can use it to engage the buffer if the buffer side switch is off (engaging the booster also engages the buffer), or just use it to push your drive pedals or amp harder.

My guess is that once you've employed a dB+ on your board you'll find it hard to live without it.
