Today we take a look at the reduced menu at the recently reopened McDonald's Drive Thru.
We understand that measures have been taken to protect staff and allow them to work safely (the reduced menu itself being one of these measures), but how will this affect the efficiency? I'm sure we've all seen the queues either on youtube (link below to scenes in southport), in the news, or by driving past to get to work!
McDonald's Drive Thrus are now open from 11am-10pm, with a reduced menu (no breakfast or shakes). There's a £25 spend limit, and contactless payment is advised and appreciated to keep everyone involved as safe as possible.
I'm sure the availability of convenience food like this will be a boon to the key workers at the moment, often working longer, more difficult shifts than usual and having less time and inclination to cook! So hopefully we can see this as a positive thing! #welcomebackmcdonalds
However, on a more serious note, PLEASE if you do go to McDonalds, DON'T DROP LITTER! In fact just don't drop litter even if you don't go to McDonalds. There's absolutely no need for it and no excuse! It takes extra effort to chuck it out the window rather than just leave it in the car, so why do it? All you'll do is ruin it for everyone else! I'm sure I don't even need to point this out though, as the people who drop litter aren't the good people watching our videos ;)
Finally, if you have any other feedback on this video we'd REALLY appreciate it; good or bad! This one took a lot longer than usual to edit, and a lot of setting up, so any constructive comments will be warmly received.
