McKids is a crazy NES game that is clearly inspired by Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. Despite the criticism this it seems to frequently get, I actually don't think that it's a terrible game, and if you're looking to burn a couple of hours with a bizarre NES platformer then you need to look no further! As we travel through the various worlds, we will also get to see many forgotten McDonalds mascots such as Ronald McDonald, Birdie, Grimace, and the Hamburglar.
Interestingly, aside from character appearances, the game itself doesn't really do too much advertising for the McDonalds restaurant chain. I'm actually surprised that they didn't at least try to plug the Big Mac or Happy Meal in there somewhere.
