Taking place some time after the campaign of the base game, we play as "Lieutenant Connor Sinclair", the now named protagonist we played as in "MechWarrior 3". He and the rest of his squad have been relegated to patrolling the planet Vale for the Federated Suns from a large pirate attack. Though there seems to be more to this attack than first meets the eye.
