Developed by Zipper Interactive and published by Hasbro Interactive in 1999, "MechWarrior 3" is the third game in the MechWarrior series of computer games. With improved, 3D accelerated graphics, fully textured polys and destructable terrain "MechWarrior 3" shows a big upgrade over the previous entry.

We play as a new recruit in the Eridani Light Horse, a faction belonging to the old Star League who didn't go with Aleksandr Kerensky when he led other members out of the Inner Sphere to become the Clans. Now in 3060, the clans have returned and the Inner Sphere is determined to remove this threat. To this end they have united together and put into motion "Operation: Bulldog" a plan to push back the forces of Clan Smoke Jaguar all the way to their home planet of Huntress.

Our mission, Codename: Damocles, is to destroy key Smoke Jaguar installations on the planet Tranquil. However, things don't go according to plan and we are left behind enemy lines with little to no backup.
