The Hellspawn 9F was designed to work as more of a urban close combat variant. To this end it was modified to carry dual MRM 20's instead of the LRM 10's the Hellspawn was known for while it's energy complement was reduced to two medium pulse lasers. The result was a version of the Hellspawn that traded range for more stopping power and was generally met with positive reviews by it's pilots.

The 9F is quite fun for me personally and that may or may not be a bad thing. It doesn't have ECM compared to other Hellspawn models but it does have a decent complement of missile and energy hardpoints so it is no slouch. I would certainly recommend trying it out if you fancy it.
