G'day all MrPaladin here.

My frien TY was wanting to get in to the game so we jumped into discord and I introduced the game from the ground up. Going over the basics of Mechwarrior Online's version of the Battletech rules.

Together we look over a few Mechs, take a look at what its parts mean in the mechlab and basic tactics of how you might play the mech then after playing a few games he discovers a mech he likes and makes the purchase (with ingame c-bills "money") and begins on the path of a Mechwarrior.

I give footage from ingame giving firm examples of what I was talking about, then we take a look at TY's screen for a few rounds and with some advise and using my knowledge of the maps and mechs if we can't get some wins on the board and learn if TY has what it takes to be a MechWarrior!
