Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond | Oculus (LINK) Quest Preview
145Update: Installation process has been optimized and now the game only requires 180GB to install and will finally take up 173GB of space.
Since it's been released they've fixed a few of the issues, and we really should release a full updated review soon! Some notable changes in the latest version:
Smooth turning now available.
Ridiculous 'Victory' screens between short scenes removed, and you only get a mission completion scene at the end of a whole mission, not between scenes or chapters.
All the gallery content now unlocked from the get-go.
More video options, hopefully meaning you can find one that works better on your configuration. Minimum spec is now theoretically a GTX 1080 GPU.
You can now choose to hide your torso, but unfortunately, this doesn't really resolve the fact that sometimes you can step away from your body!
Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is the first Medal of Honor game to release since Medal of Honor: Warfighter back in 2012, and it’s been hotly anticipated not only because it’s the first Medal of Honor in almost a decade, but because this time it’s in VR. Developed by Respawn Entertainment, and published by Electronic Arts, it has a lot to live up to if it’s going to meet player expectations.
Recommended Specs:
The recommended specifications for Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, as sent to reviewers are as follows: i7-9700K (my i7-9750H scores around 20% lower than that on benchmarks), 16GB DDR4 (my memory is 32GB DDR4), RTX 2080 (my system is running an RTX 2080 Max-Q), and SSD storage (my system is running on a solid-state NVMe).
