0Welcome back to my channel, dear gamers. As promised, today we'll continue the walkthrough of Medal Of Honor series, this time with the final entry released on the series' native console, Medal Of Honor: Underground so sit back, relax and enjoy the gameplay.
About Game: Medal Of Honor: Underground is 2000 First-Person Shooter video game developed by DreamWorks Interactive (today EA Los Angeles) and published by Electronic Arts initially as PlayStation exclusive before also being ported onto GameBoy Advance in 2002. It is the second mainline entry in Medal Of Honor video game series and serves as a chronological prequel to 1999's Medal Of Honor. Upon release on PlayStation, the game was met with positive reception on account of its story and gameplay, which was expanded with some additional mechanics compared to the first Medal Of Honor. Notably, it is the final Medal Of Honor game released on PlayStation and final game developed by DreamWorks Interactive before they were merged into Electronic Arts and rebranded as EA Los Angeles shortly after this game was released. Due to continued success of the series confirmed by this game, series was continued with two more entries, Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault on PCs and Medal Of Honor: Frontline on sixth-generation consoles which were both released back-to-back in 2002.
Story of the game takes place over the course of two years, between May 1942 and December 1944 and follows Manon Batiste, resistance fighter affiliated with Maquis, French guerilla organization founded in order to oppose the Third Reich and collaborationist Vichy government put in control of France after it was taken over by Axis in 1940 with Manon, who lost her brother after a failed mission in Paris, finding herself employed by the American Office for Strategic Services in order to assist them in covert assignments meant to cripple Axis Powers' war effort and give Allied Forces an desperately needed edge in the war, a mission which will take her through several major fronts of the war.
On the night of May 1st, 1942, nearly two years after Nazi occupation of France began, Manon and her brother named Jacques meet up in Paris in order to raid the weapons and ammunition stored in the city's music academy. However, after the mission goes awry and Jacques is killed in the raid, Manon is forced to escape through the city's underground catacombs and make her way to the village on the outskirts of Paris in order to assist the local resistance fighters by destroying the German tank column posted in the village...
